Well, I did a pretty poor job of keeping up with personal blog posts in 2022. I honestly wasn't great about getting out my "real" camera, mostly because I upgraded my cell phone and therefore have a better camera on there. But as I've looked back at my old photos I've taken, there's a feeling and art to them that a cell phone camera isn't able to capture. I also notice I'm more intentional with my camera, versus snapping a quick pic with my phone. So, here's to making myself get my camera out for personal photos more in 2023!

I took no photos from February to June, eeek! June is always a busy month with Dairy Days, Sturgis Falls, and our daughter's birthday wrapped into one month.

Next up we have July, another busy month with the 4th of July and my birthday. It was also the month that we all got Covid for the first time (which is why there is so many photos of us in our pajamas, ha!). We also have a fun neighborhood block party and put some finishing touches on our bathroom.

And then last but not least, we have October with some fun days playing in the leaves and some shots around our downtown.

This is truly my favorite type of photography and putting this blog post together reminds me why it's always worth it to get a photo!
